It’s always worth while checking with your local art gallery and museum to see what courses are available and if there are any interesting talks – most have a wide range to suit all sorts of tastes.

Adult workshop: Life drawing (traditional techniques)

Adult workshop: Life drawing (traditional techniques)
Saturday 28th September and Saturday 12th October

This workshop will take place in the Art Classroom in the Learning Zone.  11am – 4pm.

Join experienced artist and tutor, Anne Brierley, for this friendly and relaxed life drawing workshop. Participants will work from a nude life model for a number of shorter exercises and poses, as well as working on a longer pose to be determined by the group on the day.
This particular workshop will have a special focus on traditional life drawing techniques using rigorous, measured pencil drawing in the tradition of the Euston Road School and Slade School of Art.   So if you would like to learn more about how to use measurements, proportion and line in figure drawing, this workshop is for you!
This workshop is part of a set of three life drawing workshops (also on Saturdays 28 September and 12 October) These workshops are designed as stand alone workshops and are not a course, but you are welcome to book more than one.
