The workshops cover all types of craft related subjects, and titles include ‘Make a Fabulous 50’s collar’, ‘Make a Felt Bangle’, ‘Essential Dressmaking Techniques’ or ‘Beadwork on Canvas’. We’re passionate about sharing sewing skills at our shows and have leading expert teachers to help us do it. We have 1 hour, 90 minute, 2 hour and even half day workshops to
tempt you to try something new including lots of dressmaking and home furnishing classes.

Each day there are 34 classes to choose from, covering all sewing and knitting skills.

Classes range from £10 through to £45.

Fashion Textile Awards
The National Fashion Textile competition was launched at last year’s show, with the help of Kings Ely Independent School and FAD (Fashion Awareness Direct), to find the most talented young fashion designers aged 16-19 within the UK.
The shortlist and winning designs will be exhibited in a special exhibition at this year’s show.

A group of internationally renowned artists, who work in the medium of felt, have come together specifically for The Spring Knitting & Stitching Show to create a visually stunning and theatrical gallery exploring themes of body image, modification and just what we will do for love – through the story of The Little Mermaid.

If you are bringing a group of 10 or more people to the show, you can save money with our group scheme.

Tickets cost just £9.00 per person, normally £12.50 in advance (£5.00 for children aged 5-18) and they’re sale-or-return above ten, so you can return any un-used tickets that don’t get used.

All we ask is for a 50% deposit when you book, and the system is so flexible that you can order before you even know definite numbers! Simply return all un-used tickets and settle the balance by 5pm on Sunday 16th March.
